Tucson: Clean Energy Capital LLC Names CFO

MOVING UP

Hwang in key finance post at Clean Energy

Neil Hwang has been named chief financial officer and chief compliance officer for Tucson­based Clean Energy Capital LLC (formerly Ethanol Capi­tal Manage­ment LLC).

Hwang also has joined the board of Min­neapolis- based Advanced BioEnergy LLC, which operates ethanol plants in South Dakota and Nebraska and includes Clean Energy Capital LLC as its largest investor.

Before joining Clean Energy Capital, Hwang was a senior in­vestment banker at Caliburn Partnership, an independent corporate advisory firm in Aus­tralia and New Zealand. Prior to that, he was a senior manage­ment consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton (now Booz & Co.), a major consulting firm.

He also worked in the invest­ment banking division of JP Morgan Securities and in an en­forcement division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Com­mission.

Hwang has an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in public administration from Har­vard University, and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts.
