Hwang in key finance post at Clean Energy
Neil Hwang has been named chief financial officer and chief compliance officer for Tucsonbased Clean Energy Capital LLC (formerly Ethanol Capital Management LLC).
Hwang also has joined the board of Minneapolis- based Advanced BioEnergy LLC, which operates ethanol plants in South Dakota and Nebraska and includes Clean Energy Capital LLC as its largest investor.
Before joining Clean Energy Capital, Hwang was a senior investment banker at Caliburn Partnership, an independent corporate advisory firm in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to that, he was a senior management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton (now Booz & Co.), a major consulting firm.
He also worked in the investment banking division of JP Morgan Securities and in an enforcement division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Hwang has an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University, and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts.
