American Openings wins $3.5 million in contracts
Local manufacturer American Openings has won two contracts, together worth more than $3.5 million, with Phoenix-based construction firms for projects in New Mexico and Northern Arizona.
The separate contracts, totaling more than $3.5 million, call for American Openings to manufacture and supply its custom Energy Star-certified windows and doors for a student-housing project being built by Hardison/ Downey/Kitchell in New Mexico and a senior-housing project under construction by MT Builders in Prescott.
All of the windows and doors will be produced at American Openings’ Tucson facility.
The windows and doors are scheduled to be completed by May for the Prescott project and by next July for the New Mexico development.
