Longtime Tucson business and community leader Jack B. Jewett, now living in California, will return to Arizona to become president and CEO of the Flinn
Foundation.
The Phoenix-based foundation chose Jewett, currently a vice president at California State University-Monterey Bay, after a national search.
Jewett, a former president of the Arizona Board of Regents and five-term member of the Arizona House of Representatives, will succeed John W. Murphy, who is retiring.
Flinn is a privately endowed, philanthropy pushing to develop Arizona as a global biosciences research and commercial center.
