The University of Arizona Office of Technology Transfer announced Tuesday that it signed a memorandum of understanding with The University Funds — a Washington state- based venture-development firm — to start new companies based on UA research.
The agreement’s main goal is to commercialize select intellectual property from the UA using The University Funds’ venture capital and business-launch process, the UA said.
