Ubidyne is getting an additional $14.4 million in investments in its second round of financing, bringing the total the company has received to $43 million.
The company, which has its headquarters in Ulm, Germany, and an office at ASU SkySong, said the money will go toward further development and rollout of its antenna-embedded radio for wireless communications.
The latest funding, announced Thursday, came from Gimv Technology, a Belgian venture capital firm. Investors Baytech, Doughty Hanson and TVM Capital also participated in the second round.
“Gimv Technology focuses on game-changing technology companies that can become global leaders. We believe Ubidyne is poised to dramatically revolutionize the wireless base station industry, a market of truly impressive dimensions, with their unique digital radio technology,” said Hansjorg Sage, partner at Gimv.
