Local tech firm changes name
SEBRA , a Tucson-based supplier of medical-device manufacturing equipment, is changing its name to
Vante as part of its corporate development plan.
In September, Engineering and Research Associates Inc. , known as SEBRA, sold its blood-collection and -processing division to Massachusetts-based Haemonetics Corp. for $12.5 million cash. The deal included the SEBRA name.
Vante will continue to develop products for manufacturing medical plastics, focusing on catheter development and manufacturing, bio-pharmaceutical products and related engineering services, the company said.
The company’s new website is www.vante.com.
