Sunquest introduces workflow, patient safety tool
Phoenix Business Journal
Sunquest Information Systems, a Tucson company that makes laboratory and diagnostic information systems, introduced a new product to improve patient safety, efficiency and workflow.
“With the health care environment experiencing unprecedented changes, technology-based solutions enable the delivery of high quality, safe, and effective care for patients within an environment of shrinking resources,” said Richard Atkin, president and CEO of Sunquest, in a statement Tuesday.
The safety and diagnostic tool can be used by nurses, emergency staff as well as phlebotomists involved in transfusions. It also has a document-management component for the easy retrieval of test results.
