Tucson - Modular Mining announces executive changes

Modular Mining Systems Inc. announced several appoint­ments as part of a management restructuring:

Anthony Cook was named vice president for business de­velopment. He previously was general manager, Modular North America.

Martin Farrow was ap­pointed to the new position of vice president of global opera­tions. Farrow formerly was Modular’s general manager for Latin America.

Les Zoschke was named to the new position of vice presi­dent of value add services, over­seeing a group that works to solve complex operations, engi­neering and maintenance prob­lems, among other things.

Michael Lewis was ap­pointed vice president of sales and marketing. Lewis has previ­ously served in positions includ­ing manager of mine services, and most recently was general manager, Brazil.

Davi Freire was named gen­eral manager, Brazil. Freire previ­ously served as manager, sales and services, for Modular Brazil.

Carlos Carmona was ap­pointed general manager, Latin America. Carmona previously served as manager of customer services for Latin America after a career working in various roles within the Chilean mining in­dustry.

Sagar Chandra was named general manager, North Ameri­ca. Chandra previously served as the company’s vice president of marketing.
